Cynthia is busy at the computer.
She has a manic gleam in her eyes and a Cheshire Cat smile on her face.
Marcy wanders in.
Marcy: Why do you look insane?
Cynthia: I’m protesting.
Marcy takes a look.
Marcy: No, you’re shopping the Nordstrom website and checking the stock market every time you add something to your cart.
Cynthia (chuckling conspiratorially): Heh heh heh.
Marcy: Oh. I get it.
Cynthia’s eyes light up as she hits the “buy” button.
Marcy (sarcastically): You’re so subversive.
Cynthia: The future is female, Marcy. The future is female.
=^..^=
*Will Cynthia save the world in her nifty Nordstrom threads? Probably not. Nevertheless, she will persist.

Hey cats and lady, I’m back to blogging! *waves flag* I think you, Cynthia, need to wear all those things you bought together in the one glorious subversive outfit – people will be all, “Ahh, minimalism”, and then they’ll see the socks and get so distracted by the socks that they walk into a lamp-post or postbox. I actually just got a pair of Madewell jeans in the post from their sale – a pair of cruiser straights that have a sort of 90’s shape to them – and I basically cannot stop wearing them, so that will probably happen to you, too. And Marcy, now you will have something very cool to leave cat hairs all over, so really, should you be complaining? Move over, AG Stevies! There are new jeans in town! 😉
Ohhhh… I’ve been eyeballing those cruiser straights! You’ll do an ootd on your blog, riiiiiight? So happy to hear that you are back blogging! I will head on over and see what you are up to! Woo hoo!

Yes, I did. 😉 Hehe. I also have a couple of OOTD’s from Hong Kong and Osaka this past fall on our camera, that I just found, so maybe those’ll be next? Victor found me the most gorgeous park to pose in – along with all these cosplayers in skimpy leather outfits!
Seriously, cruiser straighs, varsity jacket or all of the above, you have this healthy All-American vibe going that means you could rock them. The ones I bought were the… googles… oooh they were cruiser straights, too! I thought they were called the Lana jeans but that was just the wash! Go on, buy them and be my cruiser straigths twin!
PS White tees are practical. You can write stuff on them in felt-tip pen, like IMPEACH THE PRESIDENT. Well, maybe not on expensive Madewell tees but you know. 😉
Just went to your blog! OMG!! Glad you are doing so well! Super cute outfit!
Things are developing daily with the Dumpster. The Russian scandal has come back… maybe this will be it? I don’t know. Every time we think that it never happens! grrrr…
Yyaaayyy Nordstrom! I had always been the LL Bean sort but had to abandon that. Maybe Nordstrom can change my elderly outdoorswoman vibe to something stylish.
Love the circus cat socks. Will they go with my lumberjack shirts?
cat socks go with everything except lumberjack shirts. throw those shirts away.

OMG LOL. I burst out laughing when I, like Marcy, realized your subversive master-mindedness. And I see a very familiar varsity jacket! It’s been awhile since I’ve browsed around on Nordstorm. Perhaps this is precisely the time!

Oh yes! It IS the time! Freddy emailed me a story about celebrities posting pics on IG while they are shopping at Nordstrom today! Heh heh. I can’t stop thinking about that varsity jacket. Thank you for pointing it out on your blog!!!

Haha good job on the multitasking, shopping and protesting!
It’s always fun to pretend I am doing good when shopping! 😀 😀
