Cynthia: So I was checking out Etsy for a nifty gift for a dear friend and of course I just had to look up cat stuff.
Marcy: Well, of course.
Cynthia: And of course, I found about 100 different creative and cool cat items that I want for ME. Specifically: Cat Bags. Of all kinds.
Marcy: How selfish of you.
Cynthia: More like unproductive. But inspiring too. I love the creativity and artistry from all over the world on display on Etsy. So here are some cat favorites that – should you ever decide to go out and get a job, Marcy – I would like for you to buy for me.
Marcy: I have a job. My job is to be difficult but cute. I’m a professional.

Cynthia: So who’s paying you to be professionally difficult but cute?
Marcy: You of course. Now where’s my Friskies?
I'm going to have to check out Etsy more! There are some really cute cat items here! I would want the cat design from the first picture (DooDesign) on a skirt. It has that cute 70's arts and crafts style.
Have a great day,
Oh my gosh – you're right – that DooDesign cat would look fantastic on a skirt!
There were 173 pages of cat handbags and purses. Etsy is immense!
Haha…just like a kitty…professionally naughty, but cute 🙂
They really are pros at it. The little buggers.
Shouldn't the headline be, "How a cat lady can become a bag lady, too"? 😉
Ah. Excellent idea. My only worry is that they both have such negative connotations. Still, it's good. Maybe I will change it. Can I steal it?
Hmmm. They are all cute. But I had to pick a favorite! My favorite is the first one by Doo Designs. It is so quirky and fun. I love the hand embroidered aspect to it. It is adorable! I love trolling Etsy. It is my favorite. Although, it can be a dangerous place to take a stroll for my pocketbook!
Sigh… I love them all. It is so amazing how crafty people are and I just love that they now have a place to sell and showcase their designs. Etsy is how I found the artist that did my logo.
Aw, I like the first one! It'd be a cute little change purse or a bag for chapstick and gum and such. I can't even look up pitbull themed things because I'd buy them all up. I feel super defense of Jazzy because of her breed, and I might get a bit carried away buying ornaments, bumper stickers, t-shirts, novelties, etc…and then I would be even more of an annoying pitbull advocate than I already am. lol
The world needs more Pitbull advocates like you, Liz! It is so sad how many of them end up in the shelters here in Los Angeles. The dog fighting biz is huge out here too. Sigh…keep on advocating!!!
