Cynthia: No.
Marcy: No?
Cynthia: Nah. It’s still polyester purgatory over there. But!
Cynthia pauses with a big gapey smile.
Marcy: But what?

Just then Penelope Kitten leaps by en pointe in her new ballet shoes and a rainbow tutu.
She slams face first into the coffee table.
Cynthia and Marcy look on, horrified.
penelope kitten (squeaking): ouchie. practice makes purrfect.
Penelope Kittens jumps up and takes another flying leap into the hallway as Cynthia and Marcy drool over the cat items from Anthropologie.
Slam. Crash. Boom.
penelope kitten (squeaking from the hallway): i’m fine.

Gosh I haven’t been in Anthro for so long, I kinda forgot about it. These days I am way more into consignment stores. Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving you all, and thank you for your fun blog!
Oh I bet you come across a lot of the old Anthro styles at consignment stores! The older stuff is sooooo much better than the new stuff!

I haven’t purchased from Anthropologie in sooo long. But they do have some pretty cat ornaments and a Fox walking through Birch trees skirt that are now on my list. Penelope kitty sounds like my black kitty Melody. Sweet and girly. She loves to steal makeup brushes and carry them around. She loves dresses and skirts, whether on me or a hanger. I have be careful she doesn’t snag as she frolicks and whooshes in and around the garments.

I’m going to go on over to the Anthro site to check out that Fox skirt you are talking about. Can you believe I have skirts from Anthro that are now 20 years old!
