Yes. It really is Crazy Cat Lady Day…
7pm Wednesday evening.
Cynthia races around the house in a panic.
Cynthia: OMG. Oh My Gato. OMG. Today is National Crazy Cat Lady Day.
She twirls in circles, picks up Penelope and her phone, and grins maniacally as she tries to take a selfie.
Penelope yelps and runs off.
Marcy (yawning): Every day is Crazy Cat Lady Day in this house.
Cynthia: No Marcy… you don’t understand! I almost MISSED it. I had NO idea. Absolutely NO idea.
Cynthia frantically tries on different colored cat ears to take more selfies.
Marcy (scratching her ear): And why make it National? Isn’t it enough that it’s Domestic? Must we inflict crazy people cat insanity on the world?
Cynthia: No Marcy… you don’t understand. We have a cat blog. We are supposed to know about these things in advance.
Cynthia starts smearing black eyeliner on her face in a feeble attempt at whiskers when she spies a photo op with Scooter.
Marcy: But why is being insane something to celebrate?
Cynthia lunges for Scooter who immediately rushes to safety at the top of the cat condo with Marcy.
Cynthia: Arghhhh… Stop being philosophical and HELP ME with my CRAZY CAT LADY POST!!

Marcy: No. You’re crazy.

Haha! Happy Crazy Cat Lady Day! It’s hard to keep up with all these random and weird national holidays. I have a planner from May Designs (I think you’d really like their prints and products), and it marks whimsical holidays like National Cheese Lover’s Day and National Puppy Day. It cracks me up because the holidays they’ve curated are totally my style. It’s like my planner knows me!
