Marcy’s New Year’s Resolutions For 2014

Marcy In Her Box

Cynthia:  Hi Marcy.

Marcy:  I’m in my box.

Cynthia:  I know. Want to tell me your new year’s resolutions?

Marcy:  Well, I’m in my box.

Cynthia:  You can tell me from your box.

Marcy:  Okay. ‘Cause I’m in my box.

Cynthia:  Yes. I know. So, what will you change or improve upon for 2014?

Marcy:  Okay. Here’s the list as… Decreed From My Box.

Number One – Cindy will feed me more Friskies.
Number Two – Penelope Kitten will find somewhere else to live.
Number Three – Scooter will give me his sunspots, cat nip, and tennis ball.
Number Four – Freddy will rub my face more often.
Number Five – Cindy will feed me more Friskies.

Cynthia:  Those are resolutions for others. The idea of a new year’s resolution is to change yourself for the better. Or, to achieve goals that you set for yourself.

Marcy:  No.

Cynthia:  No?

Marcy:  No. I reached all of my goals and became perfect 3 years ago. It’s others who need improvement.

Cynthia:  I don’t think you can do that, Marcy.

Marcy:  I can do anything. I’m in my box.

I love Marcy! I know a few people who probably have resolutions like hers. Or rather I knew a few people like that.

Marcy's box is very stylish and I am digging how her eyes seems to match the box above her.

Marcy was made for Downton Abbey. I have one episode left in Season 3. I cannot wait for Season 4 to start in a week! I love the show, but I am dreading the next episode. I accidentally found it out with google. : (

I almost want to end with the last sweet episode I've watched.

    Happy New Year!

Yay! Downton Abbey is coming back. I wan't too upset about Matthew. But then, I also knew about the episode before I saw it. I can't wait to see who they choose as Mary's love interests in Season 4. I hope Edith gets to do some awesome stuff this season.

      Happy New Year!

Marcy, you look so adorable in your box…great color coordinating. It goes well with the glint of evil that shows through in your otherwise innocent expression.

Happy 2014 to you and Marcy!

(I ask this because I am not a cat person and don't know … what is it about cats and boxes? ;o)

Happy 2014 to you, Lisa!! I hope that this is the best year yet!

What is so strange about cats in boxes is that a zoo recently did an experiment and gave tigers empty boxes and they did the same thing as domestic cats. They sat in them. My question is – where in the wild would a tiger find a box? How is that instinctual behavior for a cat? Weird. So, to answer your question – I have no idea! But I think you just inspired a blog post for me. hmmm… thank you!!
