Marcy walks by Penelope Kitten who is perched on top of the sofa, pretending to be a dangerous jungle panther.
Marcy (disgusted): Stop it , Penelope. You don’t scare anyone.
Penelope Kitten keeps silent as she is surveying her prey.
Marcy (annoyed): Seriously. You’re about 2 feet long and a pile of fur.
Penelope Kitten refuses to speak. She must keep quiet so as not to scare away her possible victim – a piece of carpet fuzz.
Marcy: Well, at least you’re not singing for three hours straight or hogging my sunspot.
Penelope Kitten stares at Marcy without blinking.
Marcy becomes uncomfortable and walks away.
One hour later, Marcy checks on Penelope Kitten who has still not moved.
Marcy: I found a meme for you.
Marcy: You think you look all tough but you don’t.
Penelope Kitten continues to stare unblinking at Marcy.
Marcy: Fine. Be that way.

Go Penelope go!!! And what's wrong with singing for three hours straight!?!?!
Obviously you are on Team Penelope! I won't tell Marcy. 😉

That is a beautiful picture of Penelope. My panther looking black cat is a sweet one just like Penelope. He is my first black cat and I'm wondering if they are sweet by nature. And I love that, "what my cat thinks she looks like." That's too cute.
Have a nice evening,
Stacey
Thank you,Stacey! I do believe there is some truth in that statement about black cats. Just like brown and orange tabbies are considered the most dog-like of cats and siamese cats are considered to be generally high strung.

Why can't you kitties just get along? Your drama is too stressful for Cynthia.
Good thing is that I wasn't involved in this one. If no fur flies, it's all good!

Bahaha! The jealousy drama continues, eh? Is Penelope *still* sitting there?
Oh, and I know I am repeating myself, but I just wanted to say: I hear ya with the theatre stress. Sometimes you just have to step back and take a breather, and I guess in this case your body kind of forced you to? Hang in there! And if it really is too much, force some of the other members of the theatre company to help you! It's in their best interest, after all! 😉
Oh, and #blackcatsrule
Oh Gwen! I just replied to your reply on your blog. Thank you sooooo much for your advice! I so knew you'd know what I was talking about! I am back on track and decided what felt like a mini stroke was not worth anything in the world. One of the actors came up to me last night and said how amazed she was that I was being so nice to everyone. She compared wrangling actors to herding cats and that when she produced her show everyone said she was mean and after it was all over she cried for three days. LOL. Theatre is such drama and the highs and lows are incredible. I guess that's why we get addicted. xo

Aww…P-kitty looks so cute! She really looks like a kitten in this pic…is she pretty small? I think it's so cute when cats hunt balls and carpet fuzz…they really do think they are a predator 🙂
Also, I've got my 'blog buddies' section up and you are there! 🙂
Merrie!!! I just clicked over and saw me on your blog buddies!! You are soooooooo sweet to me I want to cry! Thank you!!!!
The thing is – Penelope is not small. She's kind of – maybe – a little bit too big – as in she needs to go on a diet and is bigger than Marcy. But she photographs small most of the time. I think she will be forever a kitten in my stories even though she is 2 years old now.
I just read Gwen's comment. I hope your play is going okay. Don't be stressed. That makes me feel sad. Sending hugs your way.
Penelope is hilarious. Our black cat used to do that exact thing. But no one does it better than a Siamese cat. I am tellin' ya. Their attention span is amazing and their snootiness cannot be countered (I grew up with one. She lived to be twenty one!).
I love that meme. And I actually think it is true. I bet she does think she looks like that.
Shhh. Don't tell her otherwise!
Jenni
Ah… thanks, Jenni! My migraine put everything into perspective. My problem is that I like to cross things off of my lists and there is no doing that when you are putting together a play and dealing with 16 other people. That's one of the reasons I like working on my blog so much – I only have to depend on myself. theatre is thrilling though and I think our play is going to be fantastic! woot woot
Oh my gosh – now I have to watch a Siamese hunt carpet fuzz. too funny!
Hope you are having a blast in Maui! Hey! How are you keeping up with comments? Go back to the beach, babe!!
