3:30 pm. Cynthia bursts into the bedroom where Marcy is thoughtfully chewing on her toenails. Cynthia is jumping up and down and grinning somewhat insanely.
Cynthia: Marcy! Remember that video I showed you of the cat in a shark costume riding a roomba?
Marcy: You mean the one that exposed how insane, off your rockers, crazy cuckoo all you cat people are?
Cynthia: Um… yeah… that one.
Marcy (apprehensively): Yes. Why?
Cynthia: Well, a couple of cat lovers … WROTE A SONG FOR IT. And… IT IS AWESOME! You’ve got to watch this.
Cynthia is laughing and can’t stop.
Marcy looks at her, alarmed.
Cynthia: It’s just so funny and weird and brilliant.
The artists are two amazing musicians, Steve Cruickshank and Joel Buxton from the Brunswick Project. They just launched a YouTube channel called Animal Songs with original songs set to popular animal videos.
It’s crazy silly. So fun.
Marcy swishes her tail, becoming increasingly alarmed as Cynthia sits grinning from ear to ear.
Cynthia: Oh, Marcy. Don’t be such a grump. This kind of stuff is what’s right about the world. Plus, they looooove their cats!
Marcy: I just worry how far this kitty mental illness is going to go with you human beings. It’s worrisome. What if you all abandon your jobs to sit around and watch cat YouTube videos and write cat blogs all day. Who will feed me Friskies?
Cynthia: Now you’re talking! Let’s watch it again.
Cynthia hits play.
Marcy: Seriously. You’ve all gone mental.

That is actually a great song! Love it!
I have been singing it all day!

That is fantastic.
Marcy, when will you do something that is YouTube worthy? It seems you spend your day napping and complaining.
From Cynthia: Hi Anonymous! I agree. Hey Marcy – get to work and make us famous already!
From Marcy: (in her creepy voice) Why don't I come over to your house, Anonymous? I bet we could make a great video in the horror/suspense genre.
It wouldn't show for me on my ipad, so I had to go to You Tube to look for it. I think I found the right one. I will be honest. I watched more than one. It is hillarious. That cat is freaking adorable. I have never seen a cat do that. And its tale was swooshing, so it was enjoying it. Thank you for the smile!

For some reason it doesn't show up on the ipad. I needed to put a link in the text and I completely forgot! I am still learning all of this blogging/technical stuff. So glad you found it! I love this video too. Apparently this kitty rides the roomba all the time! Woo hoo!
xo, cynthia
