Cynthia enters the living room to find Marcy in her sunspot. Marcy is dazed and delirious from her daily Vitamin D overdose from the warm California sun.
Cynthia: Geez, Marcy. Don’t you have the life.
Marcy: I do. Don’t bug me. I’m absorbing the D.

Cynthia: Don’t you feel the least bit bad for all of the freezing peeps and cats all over the United States right now?
Marcy: No.
Cynthia: I do. Don’t you feel the least bit guilty that our thermostat hit 75 today?
Marcy: No.
Cynthia: I do. Can you even imagine what below zero would feel like? It must be terrible. Plus, they all must be going crazy cooped up in their homes for so long.
Marcy: Let them make snowcats.

Hey! Just found your blog through a comment you made on 'respect the shoes'…I'm so glad I stopped by because I love cats too! I love all the articles and funny stuff you have on here….my mind is bewildered by the snow kittens (how did they get the snow to stick to the tree)? I have 2 cats…a goofy Tuxedo named "Mary the Monster" and a quiet black one named "Minnie the Sidler". Pop by some time…I mostly blog about fashion but I stick some kitty pics in when I can. 🙂

I just checked out your blog! Love it! You have some serious awesome style! Love how you put outfits together! Your cat, Minnie, looks just like our Penelope Kitten. Mary and Minnie are both so cute. How lucky for them that you rescued them. They look like they are living the life! yay! So happy to meet a fellow cat lover/advocate!
I am just as bewildered as to how they got the snow kittens to stick to the tree too. Is it possible that they just stuck there because it is so cold? Brrrrr…

I love these! My favorite is the giant cat, because, well it's awesome. But I really like the one on the concrete porch. It looks the most realistic. So cool!
We have been spoiled with our weather. I do wish it would get just a tad colder. Just a bit. After tomorrow it is days of 80s. I know it is selfish to want it just a little colder when so many people are freezing. I feel for them. All I want is a little teeny bit of rain. My dad really desperately need it right now. If we don't get it it is going to be scary dry around here in the summer time. I hate fire season.
Anyway, the snow cats are adorable. I didn't even know they existed!

Oh gosh – I hope we get rain then! Fire season is just awful. It is about 60 and overcast up here today. A little colder than yesterday! I just got my flu shot today and was thinking about you. Hope you are feeling better!!
