Marcy: The Pinot Meow has such a lovely nose. Mmmm…Black cherry and currants with a hint of rose.
Marcy swirls and sips thoughtfully. Penelope gulps it down.

Marcy: By the bye, I do believe the Pinot Meow will go best with our Friskies Mixed Grill Paté.
Just then, Hamlet and Scooter come running onto the blog and crash the girls’ wine tasting.
Hamlet: OMG WE JUST SAW THE BESTEST… MOST AWESOMEST… MOST FANTABULOUS… RAP VIDEO ABOUT THE CAT WINE FROM APOLLO PEAK!
Scooter: Yeah. We wanna “mix it with the beats” with Moshow and Ravioli and the hot cat ladies!
Marcy: Fine. We’re leaving. We’ll open a bottle of The MosCATo and watch Sex and the City reruns.
penelope kitten (squeaking): yeah. yeah. yum.
The girls pad off to the TV room while Hamlet and Scooter devour the cat wine with their “beats” and hoping the hot cat ladies will think they’re cool and righteous dudes.
Marcy: Those stupid boy tabbies know they’re neutered right?!

Their wine is (of course) non-alcoholic and DOES NOT contain grapes! The main ingredient is beets with organic cat nip, peppermint, and/or chamomile. All sourced from the USA and made in Colorado!
They even make dog wines!
Plus, Apollo Peak is just a super cool company. We were lucky to meet them at CatCon last year and they were so sweet and supportive and spectacular. It was exciting to watch their brand soar from a small Colorado business to the big time in the space of what seemed like a nano-second.
So of course I was thrilled when founder, Brandon, sported one of my Pink PussyCat Bracelets on Facebook last month in support of Planned Parenthood with the caption –
“Worn By A Man. Support For The Women. Apollo Approves”.

How nice to have them participate in your happy hour. I picture all of you lounging around the living room sipping as the sun goes down.
Love seeing a man wearing a pink pussycat bracelet. It looks good on his hairy arm. Maybe the start of a trend!
I haven’t tasted it but now that you suggested it – why not?! I’ll let you know how it goes for humans. And yes – love that all humans and cats can now enjoy Happy Hour together!

Okay crazy peeps!
Tried it! It tastes like beets and what I think is catnip! I am only assuming it is cat nip because I have not tried cat nip on its own. And I will not. No matter how much you want me to. I will not eat Marcy’s cat nip. Cat wine is as far as I will go. lololol
I LOVE the pics!!!!! Nice to get a look at the boys too. And, I learned a new thing today, I had no idea there was such a thing as pet wine!
Thank you! The girls were being divas as usual when I got the camera out but the boys didn’t care!
Pet wine is fairly new. (I did a post on a horrible cat wine a few years ago that was made with grapes which I had a heart attack about since cats and dogs are allergic to grapes.)
Apollo Peak is the original healthy wine made from beets! I would not trust any company but Apollo Peak with pet wine actually. They are such a wonderful company – animal lovers through and through. Sweethearts. It has been a blast watching them blow up to the big time.

So fun! It looks like your kitties are more interested in this pet wine that Jazzy was in a dog beer we got her. The display got so embarrassing that we were fake drinking it to try and coax her. She was having none of it. I just wanted to chat over drinks with my dog, like any reasonably sane person, and she had to go and poop on my party. Sigh.

Oh yay! Finally Hamlet and Scooter get to appear on the blog! *throws confetti at the boy cats*. They are all adorable, especially Scooter with his little tongue sticking out. Cat wine is such a cute idea. And how cool about the bracelet! I love that you cat people are banding together!
I have to say, cat business people are so sweet and supportive! Across the board they are all so helpful and encouraging and fun and enthusiastic!
