Ballet Zoom “Cats” |
Marcy and Cynthia are gaping at the computer.
They are goggle eyed.
They are transfixed.
They are speechless.
They are not quite sure if this Spanish dance troupe from the 1970’s is genius.
Or out of their minds.
Marcy and Cynthia hit ‘play’ again and stare slack jawed and stupefied.
Check it out here and below and let us know if you are able to form words afterwards. And if so …what those words might be.

love the emoticon in favor of words! That's exactly how I felt! lol

I think I like this!! Those are some pretty advanced graphics for the 70s. I do feel sorry for the kitties though, I'm sure they got motion sick.
I wouldn't worry about the kittens – kittens are pretty hardy beings!

This has everything you love, Cynthia…cats, bell bottoms and dancing. I can see why you were mesmerized. I agree with Anonymous that it must have been hard on the kitties.
she's still mesmerized. she's walking around with rainbows in her eyes.
i'm over it.

And this is your brain on drugs (or hardcore catnip).
hahaha!
That is hysterical! At first I thought I was going to be watching the Kroft Super Show.
The music is a hoot and that old trick photography where they zoom in and out really fast is classic 70's.

Ohhhhh – I'm not sure I know what the Kroft Super Show is. I will look it up. Must be groovy! 😀

Oh my. I actually said that out loud when the video started. I don't really know what to say. It's like a bad Thriller video with cat impersonators instead of zombies and monsters. I see inspiration from CATS, Charlie's Angels, James Bond, and…Fancy Feast? I see a fluffy white kitty's face lurking beyond the silhouettes of the dancers leaping about. This is so strange. lol
I think my favorite part was the people dancing with the cats and nodding their heads and shoulders while they proudly and enthusiastically held out the cats.
Bizarro. Even more bizarro that they all look preeeeetty pleased with themselves. Thanks for that? lol

Hahahaha – I'm cracking up over your reaction. This is how a lot of kids shows were in the '70's. They came on after cartoons on Saturday mornings. Just google '70's kids shows. Your mind will be blown. Maybe that explains why so many of my generation is a little nutty.
And yes – very pleased with themselves. The '70's was definitely not a self conscience time. lol

Wow. The 70s were a different time…
LOL. Yes, they were indeed. LOL
