Cynthia: Gotta love Etsy. To have a platform to discover American made products and to support local artists who in turn support charities is a wonderful thing. What do you think, Marcy?
Marcy: I want to be a Woodland Cat. I want to hang out in the trees and pounce on unsuspecting woodland creatures.
Cynthia: I thought you wanted to be a Paris City Cat and eat in cafes whilst looking fabulous and aloof?
Marcy: I can be both.
Cynthia: How? How will you travel from Paris to the Pacific Northwest to do that?
Marcy: With that magic ring you’ve got on.
Cynthia: Well, I do love my ring. I smile every time I look at that cat silhouette hanging out on my hand. Maybe it is a magic ring?
Marcy: Give it to me. I have an appointment on the Champs Elysees at noon and a mouse hunt scheduled somewhere east of Seattle at six.
Marcy flies off to Paris in her sunspot with Cynthia’s magic cat ring.

Cute ring. I bet it's magic, too.
If that doesn't work out, Marcy can always live in Paris and be a Woodland Cat in the Bois de Vicennes.
Ohhhh… that sounds glamorous. Why be a woodland cat in Seattle when you can be a woodland cat in France?

That ring is so delicate and pretty. I love it. My daughter would love it, too. I'm working on getting you that picture of her in those tights. I asked her on Friday and was met with a sigh and a, "Right now? Uhhhhhh." So, I am waiting for a moment in teenagedom where I will be given the opportunity to get a picture. Can I borrow that magic ring? ; )
How are you resisting all of the amazing cat stuff out right now? If they were gnomes, I would be in huge trouble! Forever 21 has the coolest cat shirt right now. I think it is $14.

Ah… don' bug her about the tights! No worries!! I am able to resist the cat stuff because I am up to my ears in work and producing this play. I haven't been able to look much and am afraid my blogging is going to go way way down this month. aaaaaackkkk… I need to organize me time better!!

That is a great ring! And the pictures are cute as always.
Thank you! I had to put 3 filters on that first one to make it look nice. Close up selfies are brutal. Yay for apps! I have no shame in using them.

I like that the ring is so simple. I am going to see if she makes a pendant.
She custom makes everything in her studio so even if one isn't on her site it wouldn't hurt to ask. Love her stuff!

How cute…I would love to see Marcy tromping around the pacific northwest looking for mice 🙂 (or moose…that's what I accidentally read the first time)
Darn – moose is much funnier than mouse! Wish I would have thought of that. LOL

That is such a lovely, dainty ring. It matches your personality so well. That's how you do "cat lady" with class. So darling! And the packaging! The wax stamp is perfect and such a clever way to adorn the box.

Ah – thank you, Liz! xoxo And oh my gosh the packaging was perfect!

Penelope looks so pretty and is a sweet compliment to the ring.
Off the topic, but your skin looks amazing in that extreme close up. Do you use any special products?
Although I have yet to shop Etsy, it sounds like a great place for artists and vintage sellers.
Thanks for sharing,
Stacey
Stacey! It's photoshop! Well, not photoshop but 3 – yes 3 filters!! Oh gosh – I was just asking another blogger if using filters was like using affiliate links and should be divulged and I believe that you just answered my question. I need to divulge when I use filters because there is no way on earth that that is my skin! I used the Hello Camera app and layered 3 filters on top of each other. I really have large pores and deep circles and crinkly skin! I did a whole Facebook post about this topic a few days ago – using this post as an example of what a filter can do. I have to say that this recent experience photoshopping a photo has really made me wonder if other bloggers out there are doing the same thing. Seriously, they must. I was so depressed taking these pics and then I remembered – oh I have an app -I wonder if I can fix it? And I did and now I feel like a liar. What a conundrum!
I think I will do a post about this.
And I think you would really enjoy Etsy!

Omigosh, that ring is adorable! Suits you perfectly. And it's really cool how she donates part of her profits, too. Etsy is so great for getting people like her into the limelight, as it were.
…that packaging has actually given me a good idea, because I have a few stamps and different colours of wax lying around – and a few birthdays coming up. Hmmm! 😉
Etsy really is incredible. It makes me want to be crafty. Alas, I never got the crafty gene. I was putting together a hat for that play today and managed to super glue my fingers and stick a sewing needle up my finger too. lol

Oh what a cute ring!! I love it!!
Hi Sayaka! It certainly does make me smile every time I look at it! 🙂
