Plus, all the spring/summer events where we’ll be vending in Los Angeles.
Cynthia is so excited she disregards the fiercely blowing Santa Ana winds and races outside with her new Marcy Very Much vendor sign. Marcy watches from the window.
Cynthia: Woo Hoo!
Cynthia recklessly strikes a pose in the street with her sign.
Cynthia (wobbling on one foot): It’s happening! Marcy Very Much will be at the super fun Artists & Fleas Market this Saturday April 2nd on Abbot Kinney (at Westminster) in Los Angeles from 11am-5pm.
Cynthia: We’ll be selling our Marcy Merch with new items added. Yay!
A gust of wind knocks Cynthia off balance and her sign flies a few blocks south. Then east. Then north.
Cynthia: Oops!
As Cynthia chases her sign down the street, Marcy fills her readers in on the rest of the deets.
Marcy (from the window): There will be over 100 artisan vendor booths, admission is free, and there will be a $25 gift card raffled off every two hours. It’s a really cool event.
If you are going to be at the beach for brunch come down to the market to say hi! And bring me some brunch. I love brunch.
Cynthia, out of breath, returns with her sign.
Cynthia (calling up to Marcy): I’m going to stand over here where it’s less windy!
Marcy (calling down): You should back up.
Cynthia steps back.
Marcy: More.
Cynthia steps back again.
Marcy: Keep going.
Cynthia continues backing up until her heels hit some steps and she falls on her butt.
Marcy: Okay. Stop. Now that’s a great photo op.

Upcoming Spring/Summer Events in Los Angeles:
*April 2nd(Saturday): Artists & Fleas (Abbot Kinney @Westminster) 11am-5pm.
*April 15th(Friday): Odd Nights At The Autry (Autry Museum grounds) 6pm-11pm.
*May 20th(Friday): Odd Nights At The Autry (Autry Museum grounds) 6pm-11pm.
* June 25/26th(Saturday/Sunday): CatConLA (The Reef in DTLA) 10am-5pm.
These events really are fun if you are looking for something casual to do this spring. And, with the exception of CatConLA, they are free. Odd Nights has a summery festival feel with live bands, food trucks, a bar, and a fabulous kids play area. Artists & Fleas is on uber-trendy Abbot Kinney at the beach in Venice. Gotta love LA!
(marcy and penelope kitten: we love it!)

Love the new sign and the shout-out to Randy Newman! Those events sound great. If I were there I would totally have brunch at the beach, order a half double decaffeinated half-caf, with a twist of lemon, then head to this event.
I officially love you for quoting LA Story!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go to my friend’s house. *gets in car and drives two houses down the street*
LOL!!! I love LA Story!!

Cindy, these events sound so great!
I don’t know if I’ll get to Venice this weekend, only because the parking situation there on a Saturday is NUTS. And one of the lots was closed last week for construction, too… but I’m looking forward to Odd Nights and Cat Con!
PS — cute shoes!
You are the bestest! No worries I am going to be doing a lot of these events throughout the rest of the year!

May your tent stay grounded and vendor sign secure, may cat-loving customers purchase all your merchandise, may your ankles not swell and may some kind person bring you brunch. Good luck!
Thank you! Just got weights for the tent (and carried them for 3 blocks now I have no feeling in my arms) and Freddy is my helper so he can bring me brunch!

Hooray for you being the toast of the fests!!! And glad you and your sign made it back in one piece, no thanks to certain heart-butted felines!
I am wondering if I need to remove that heart from the butt of my heartless cat. Only on the sign though. I don’t think she’d appreciate having a giant bald spot on her butt. lol

Good looking out, Marcy. She’d never want to make you look a fool or anything. lol
How fun! It’s great that you’re doing all of these events and festivals. I wish I was closer so I could come scout out your booth and fanciful feline wares!

P.S. I'll take your sweet ballet flats in every color, please.
I wish you were closer too! I think they may have had those ballet flats in nude too. They were Jessica Simpson shoes and I believe I got them at Macys. Hmmm.. but months and months ago. Also they were at Nordstrom and on Zappos.
