Wow! So many great links! I saw two dudes become fast friends whilst sitting on the couch together at Anthro last time I was there. I will snap a pic next time.

I'm not sure that cat's love is requited by the bunny. And yes!!! So excited for Malala!!!

I am going to take a picture of Freddy next time i am there and submit it to the blog.

I just love how flat the bunny's head is after the cat's been sleeping on it.

Love this post! My favorite is that sweet man giving those coins away. I will think about that for days. Also his message was awesome!

That dress is fabulous! I can see Edith wearing it.

Thrilled that Malala Yousafzai won the Nobel Peace Prize! I have followed that story from the beginning. She is so amazing and brave.

The "Men in Anthro" page was hilarious. What is with the small man on the giant couch?! It looks like the couch is swallowing him! I'm sure the ridiculous couch is another example of, "…And it can be yours for just $18,000!" I'll have to show the page to Kyle so he'll know he's not alone in his suffering. We need to run in and get a new "All Out Of" grocery list pad and a few bars of soap. He's already in a panic because he knows that's what we're going in for. It is not, however, likely to be all we walk out with. He has learned my ways.

That slinky gray dress is so lovely. Very Downton. I'm already getting excited for holiday dresses. I just picked up a maroon lace and tulle party dress from Forever21, and I'm trying desperately to think of a way to wear it for daytime. I'd feel better knowing you bought that gray dress, that we each got dressed and dolled up, and then lounged around our homes, decked out in jewels and drinking tea.

Liz you have to take a picture of Kyle suffering at Anthro and send it to the tumbler account. I plan on doing that next time I am there with Freddy.

Can't wait to see your dress! I love tulle.

Well, now I obviously have to buy that grey dress so we can lounge around drinking tea. We'll have to put on a fake English accent too. Darn though, why do I always like dresses that are too expensive. Grrr…

      Cheerio,
      Cynthia

Loved the links…kept me busy for quite awhile. I wish Malala could bottle her courage and share it with all of us.

I love the links to these blogs! The "Men Trapped in Anthropologie," had me laughing out loud! Since my husband loves to cook, I send him to kitchen stores while I shop in Anthropologie. I can't stand it when someone is bored and waiting for me while I shop, so I make sure he does not become trapped.
    I love Zooey too!
Thanks for sharing the fun reads,
    Stacey

      Good "husband in Anthro strategy"!

OMG. The Men in Anthro website! I couldn't stop laughing. I never go shopping with my husband but I overheard him trying to explain it to one of his friends a few days ago: "It's like Anne of Green Gables meets hippie meets wandering troubadour…."

That description is hysterical! Now I can't stop laughing!

YESS! I am also super excited Malala won the Nobel peace prize, BUT… Why are they diminishing her achievement by making her share it?! This always seems to happen when they let women win, that year when Ellen Johnson Sirleaf won and had to share it with TWO other women. But when a MAN wins the Nobel prize, he doesn't have to share it. This irks me.

Also, Men Trapped in Anthropologie was hilarious. I think a picture of Victor might belong on that site, though he might kill me… I've now got visiting Anthro with him in tow down to a fine art – last time I had him hold the dessert bowls I was buying on sale, while I tried on the one single sale top I was buying in two sizes in front of a shop-floor mirror. Bam-Bam! And we were out of the store. And he STILL complained, haha! Anyway, the picture of Jude is my favourite, love that he submitted it himself! XD

    • Reply MarcyVeryMuch October 17, 2014 at 7:09 pm

I didn't realize that when women won that it was always a shared win. Hmpf. The good news is that Malala is getting all of the publicity?!
You've got to get Victor to pose for a pic in Anthro so you can send it in. Next time I am with Freddy I am going to snap a pic of him to submit. Ha! Ha! Ha!
