OMG! Laura Vall of Los Angeles based band,The Controversy, wears our KittyFace Emoji tank on stage!…
It’s a lazy boring Memorial Day weekend when all of a sudden Marcy runs and runs and runs around the house.
Cynthia: Marcy! Why so freaked out?
Marcy (running): OMG (oh my gato)!
Marcy races out of the room.
Marcy races back into the room. And out. And in.
Marcy: OMG! OMG! OMG!
Marcy (panting): Super cool chick, Laura Vall, of our favorite synth-pop band, The Controversy, wore our KittyFace Emoji Tank during a performance this weekend. And she looks smokin’ hot.
Cynthia and Penelope Kitten check out a close-up of the photo.
And then they start running around the apartment.
Cynthia and penelope kitten: OMG! OMG! OMG!
*Yes, Awesome Readers, we are obviously over the moon over this! So much so that we don’t mind looking like crazed teeny-boppers.
The Controversy is one of our favorite bands here in Los Angeles. Their music is synth-pop. Their live shows are magical. Their musicianship and performance skills are top notch.
And guess what? They love cats! They’ve got two!
If you love David Bowie, Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran you will most likely love The Controversy!
Check ’em out below.
Marcy: And KittyFace Emoji Tanks are for sale here. We’ve got a few left in stock.
Thanks for sharing this band’s music! I really loved the vibe of it. The tee looks great on her too! Woohoo for Marcy, Penelope & Cynthia!
Aren’t they just fab?!

Oh my gato! So awe-some-o! Really though, that’s super neat. And I’m grooving to the music video right now. Tegan & Sara is my favorite band, and they’ve taken a pop-synth turn too. It’s upbeat and gets me dancing. It’s feel good music!
Ohhhh I haven’t heard of Tegan & Sara! I will check them out!
That is so exciting!! Their music is awesome!! So if I buy a tank top I’ll look as amazing as Laura?
Awesome! How did you find out, are they friends if yours?
We were at a venue in downtown Los Angeles last year that Freddy’s young cousin was producing. They were performing and we were just blown away. Then, they happened to be playing at The Autry – twice! – where I go for the craft markets. Freddy was in the music business at the beginning of his career so he is not shy about introducing himself. They are really sweet and friendly! I so hope they become famous! They really deserve it!
Cynthia and Marci are another step closer to becoming stylists to the stars!
Woo hoo! 😀
I meant MarcY
get it right, big momma, get it right.
