Ok, those little girls are adorable! Bikes are cool, but they look so cute (and tough) in their skater gear 🙂

I think the kitty convict idea is great! I automatically think any cat I see running around outdoors is an outdoor cat, unless they come up to me. (And how many cats will do that??) Plus, he’s so right – cats are so furtive, especially if they are black ones. They just blend into the shadows. I’ve overlooked Minnie a million times because I assumed she was a pair of shoes or a jacket. (I know that just sounded terrible, but it’s true. When I see her out of the corner of my eye, she looks just like a shadow.) Cheers to more kitty birthdays!

So, is the orange collar marker being widely accepted?

I don’t know yet. The idea is brand new and I think they just started this campaign. I hope it takes off at least for cats who are inside/outside and already were collars. I doubt I could get mine to wear collars.

I want an “outraged cat t-shirt!!” 🙂 They are so right though, when I see a cat out and about, I assume it’s an outdoor cat. The video of the dancers is amazing. That girl is so tiny! Thanks for all the great fave things Marcy!

That’s one of the best 9 Likes collections yet. And item #2 convinced me to never give birth to a child.

Whew! That’s a relief. About the never giving birth that is!

So… does that mean you guys are ordering a quartet of orange collars? That dress is pretty amazing. I have a Xmas tree that hangs on the wall, I think it is actually called a wall tree. It is about 3-4 feet tall. Most of the year it is stored flat, under the bed, wrapped in a sheet, and I just keep the the lights and ornaments on it permanently. When the holiday rolls around, I just unwrap it, take down a mirror, slap the tree up on the wall instead, and plug it in. My mom got it for me a bazillion years ago, and it is the total no-fuss way to have a fun festive tree– up or down in 5 minutes!

That is a fantastic idea! I just have a wreath I put up and always take off the ornaments when I’m done with it.. I will not do that this year! Yay!

Oh no! Margaret has never worn a collar. Guilt, guilt guilt.
LOVED the dancers. How did she do a one-armed handstand?
Skateboards today, maybe bicycles tomorrow and eventually cars. We can only hope.
Ha. Poor bastards giving simulated birth. Should be a required exercise for all expectant fathers.

The only glitch in the collar idea is that collars are supposed to be dangerous to cats if they get caught on something. That’s the only problem with the idea.

The Kitty Convict Project is simple and genius. I never realized there was such a disparity between retrieving lost dogs and cats. But it makes total sense.

This reminds me of a meme I’ve seen going around Facebook for a couple of years. It’s about tying a colored ribbon on your dog’s leash to signify if they’re friendly, aggressive, anxious, etc. It never ceases to amaze me how people will run up to touch Jazzy while we’re clearly restraining her and telling them to back off. If there was some communication method that was universally known, that would be great. Until then, if people could just ask before approaching, that would suffice too. lol

That is an excellent idea for dogs! As a person who is somewhat fearful of dogs (silly, I know) I for one would really appreciate a colored ribbon on their leash!
Interesting that people do that with Jazzy. I thought everyone was afraid of pitbulls. But Jazzy looks like a sweetheart!!
